In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The questline centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana together with several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
