Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a person who leaped a barrier and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip shows the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote another response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of supporters had congregated in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore venue, including a number who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the surprising friendship between two very different witches.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, earning a pair for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
