Dan Burn A nuisance on corners and free-kicks, per usual, could serve as a replacement for Stones at the back rather than paired with him. One wayward pass later in the match came close to an opener from the visitors. 6/10

The young full-back A further assured performance from the youngster after his debut against Serbia. Saka failed to make the most of a clever flick behind their defense. The role is firmly his so soon. 7

The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. A bit loose in possession though his inswinging deliveries posed a danger. An effective game manager for the boss to have versus sides that sit back. Booked after a reckless foul. 6

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and free kicks were dangerous. Was given room to move in left midfield yet found himself offside upon receiving in front of goal. Awarded a well-earned break on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Played in a forward role out wide while also contributed with dirty work. Displayed moments of class and scuffed a shot wide. Withdrawn late on by a teammate, a fellow player, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his shot smartly stopped by Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate staying deep, he had to offer an outlet out wide yet his deliveries into the box varied in quality. Replaced with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner netting 77th and 78th finishes at international level. The first a trademark close-range tap-in while the second a superb header following a clever run from his marker. Now 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders next summer with him leading the line. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to get into the game out wide. Had a presentable chance following a pass by the midfielder however Strakosha kept it out. Rashford had a greater effect after coming on. Five
